As CBS 2’s Jessica Schneider reported Monday night, the 21-year-old victim said she was beaten by three teenage girls when her subway train pulled into the Seventh Avenue G Train stop in Park Slope.
It was a brutal attack the woman, named Amanda, said that all started because she asked the teens to stop swearing inside the crowded subway car.
“I said, ‘You guys should be more respectful for your age. There’s a bunch of children on the train right here, and that’s unacceptable,’” the woman told Schneider.
Amanda, who did not want to reveal her last name, said she made the simple, peaceful plea to the group of 14- and 15-year-old girls on the afternoon of Sept. 10. The result was violence, she said.
