Donald Trump held a rally to a huge standing-room only crowd in Costa Mesa, California. Mid-way through his rally, there was massive riots outside. Representing Danger & Play Media, I was the first media outlet on the scene when the riots broke out. I also faced down several hundred violent protesters.

I know, because I have watched the suicide of a nation; and I know now how it happens. Venezuela is slowly, and very publically, dying; an act that has spanned more than fifteen years. To watch a country kill itself is not something that happens often. In ignorance, one presumes it would be fast and brutal and striking – like the Rwandan genocide or Vesuvius covering Pompeii. You expect to see bodies of mothers clutching protectively their young; carbonized by the force or preserved on the glossy side of pictures. But those aren’t the occasions that promote national suicide. After those events countries recover – people recover. They rebuild, they reconcile. They forgive.

No, national suicide is a much longer process – not product of any one moment. But instead one bad idea, upon another, upon another and another and another and another and the wheels that move the country began to grind slower and slower; rust covering their once shiny facades. Revolution – cold and angry. Hate, as a political strategy. Law, used to divide and conquer. Regulation used to punish. Elections used to cement dictatorship. Corruption bleeding out the lifeblood in drips, filling the buckets of a successive line of bureaucrats before they are destroyed, only to be replaced time and again. This is what is remarkable for me about Venezuela. In my defense – weak though it may be – I tried to fight the suicide the whole time; in one way or another. I suppose I still do, my writing as a last line of resistance. But like Dagny Taggert I found there was nothing to push against – it was all a gooey mess of resentment and excuses. “You shouldn’t do that.” I have said. And again, “That law will not work,” and “this election will bring no freedom,” while also, “what you plan will not bring prosperity – and the only equality you will find will be in the bread line.” And I was not alone; an army of people smarter than me pointed out publically in journals and discussion forums and on the televisions screens and community meetings and in political campaigns that the result would only be collective national suicide. Nobody was listening.

Today on America’s Newsroom host Martha MacCallum blamed the Trump supporters for the anti-Trump violence.

DISGUSTING!

Martha MacCallum confronted Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson for the rioting Mexicans outside of the Trump Costa Mesa rally on Thursday night. The open border goons beat Trump supporters bloody and flipped cop cars.
Unreal.

Here are a few of Martha’s outrageous accusations:

“As Trump supporters and Trump protesters clashed out there… At one point a fight broke out when a Trump supporter tried to get his hat back… There’s also a report though where there was one incident where a man who was holding a Mexican flag was surrounded by Trump supporters and they were shouting at this man who was surrounded… Is that something that you condone? And what is the campaign doing to try to lower the temperature a little bit?

Seriously?
The anti-Trump goons are cracking skulls and Martha is worried about a few Trump supporters screaming – something leftists do at EVERY Trump rally?

If all the extra leaves growing because of increased CO2 in the atmosphere were laid end to end, it would cover a space twice the size of the continental U.S.

That's the conclusion of a new study conducted by 32 scientists and 24 institutions.

BBC:
Climate sceptics argue the findings show that the extra CO2 is actually benefiting the planet.
But the researchers say the fertilisation effect diminishes over time.

They warn the positives of CO2 are likely to be outweighed by the negatives.

The lead author, Prof Ranga Myneni from Boston University, told BBC News the extra tree growth would not compensate for global warming, rising sea levels, melting glaciers, ocean acidification, the loss of Arctic sea ice, and the prediction of more severe tropical storms.

The new study is published in the journal Nature Climate Change by a team of 32 authors from 24 institutions in eight countries.

It is called Greening of the Earth and its Drivers, and it is based on data from the Modis and AVHRR instruments which have been carried on American satellites over the past 33 years.The sensors show significant greening of something between 25% and 50% of the Earth's vegetated land, which in turn is slowing the pace of climate change as the plants are drawing CO2 from the atmosphere.

Just 4% of vegetated land has suffered from plant loss.

This is in line with the Gaia thesis promoted by the maverick scientist James Lovelock who proposed that the atmosphere, rocks, seas and plants work together as a self-regulating organism. Mainstream science calls such mechanisms "feedbacks".

The scientists say several factors play a part in the plant boom, including climate change (8%), more nitrogen in the environment (9%), and shifts in land management (4%).

But the main factor, they say, is plants using extra CO2 from human society to fertilise their growth (70%).

In the last week of March, immediately in the aftermath of the tragic Brussels bombing which ISIS took responsibility for and which was subsequently revealed as organized by a semi-autonomous Brussels cell operating closely with the French cell responsible for the November 2015 terrorist attack, we reported that the Islamic State group has trained at least 400 attackers and sent them into Europe for terror attacks. As AP said, citing security officials, "the network of interlocking, agile and semi-autonomous cells shows the reach of the extremist group in Europe even as it loses ground in Syria."

The last sentence was most troubling: "The officials say the fighters have been given orders to find the right time, place and method to carry out their mission."

Fast forward one month later when one such place targeted for a new ISIS attack may have been revealed.

Did you know that most pundits do not earn a living selling books to their readers?

They instead shill for their billionaire owners, who invest in their projects. That’s why people like Ben Shapiro went from being pro-Trump in 2011 to hating Trump. (Shapiro’s career is funded by the same people who run Ted Cruz Super PACs.)

Nearly every big name conservative pundit earnings money via laundering money from Super PACs. A big billionaire wants a pundit to attack Trump. Make some donations to a “non-profit,” give a guy a $400,000 salary, and like magic those articles appear.

Men and women are biologically distinct and complementary, that’s the truth. To find happiness and fulfillment, we must start by accepting our own nature. Our nature cannot be changed. It can be explored, lived, and understood, but not altered. Our sex is a gift, not a mistake or an aberration. And it is a gift that we are meant to give to another person of the opposite sex. And together, when two members of the opposite sex give themselves to one another, the possibility for the formation of a new life is present. This is good. This is beautiful. This is true. You are publicly denying that truth, and there ought to be repercussions for it.

If I can be emotionally vulnerable for a moment, Target, I have to admit that we’re just tired. We’re tired of the unrelenting nonsense that surrounds us in this culture. It rains from the sky and accumulates on the ground like nuclear fallout, and we trudge around in it all day. Our legs are worn out. We can’t do it anymore. We have to listen to it constantly, from all sides, and now we can’t even go to the store to grab some Tupperware without hearing a sermon about the “human rights” of gender confused homosexuals? No, sorry, we’re done. Not today. Not this time.

It’s the principle of it. Not the safety, the principle. Everyone talks about “safety” because many of them are too afraid to just come out and say, “I don’t like these new bathroom policies because ‘transgenderism’ is utter insanity and I don’t want to have this preposterous silliness foisted on me anymore.” Most everyone in the world knows that a man doesn’t become a woman just because he “feels” like one, but of those who know it, many insist on it for ideological reasons, and many of the rest won’t directly contradict it because they’re scared.

Trevor Phillips is helping to present the study as a way of making up for having gotten “almost everything wrong” during his tenure in government. While heading the commission he led the formation of an official report that created and popularized the term “Islamophobia” as a way of stigmatizing any criticism of Islam or of mass Muslim immigration. Now, he admits he was wrong about everything.

His comments ought to improve the debate over mass immigration, at least.  Since the 1997 report he commissioned, concern about large-scale Muslim immigration has been treated as if it were literally a psychological disorder.  A “phobia” is a groundless, irrational fear that ought to be trained out of a person by aversion therapy or some other treatment. It is not in any way a concern to be taken seriously. It is simply a disorder that must be corrected.

Now we learn that those who were raising these concerns were right all along. The fear that the massive importation of Muslims would create significant changes in British culture turns out to be perfectly well-grounded. The suggestion that it would create a growing bloc of voters who wanted to repeal the unwritten British constitution in favor of sharia law was not a part of a ‘phobia’ at all. It was simply true.

Phillips is now attempting to make amends, in part by working to ensure practical steps are enacted to combat the Islamization of the U.K.
