60 Minutes Did A Segment Last Night On Fake News With Mike Cernovich As The Sacrificial Lamb ....LOL #Cerno60

The 'Main Stream Media' is having an identity crisis and they don't even know it.

They have been the gatekeepers of information for over a century.

They have been the sole proprietors of who gets to be defined as legitimate, who the experts are, and who should be discredited...sometimes even destroying whole careers and lives in the process. They are for all intents and purposes .....evil incarnate.

And we know it.

And we aren't going to take it anymore.

Andrew Breitbart was the beginning of the end for them though they didn't know it.

I have a feeling they all breathed a sigh of relief after his death. What they didn't know and what President Trump has capitalized on is leading by example through Righteous Indignation. Breitbart may be gone but he has left behind an Army of Breitbarts which is much more potent than just one man.

Mike Cernovich is an example of this. He's not the only one but he's one of the most influential ones.

Sunday night 60 minutes did a segment on fake news. Let's skip over the irony of that fact and move on to the ignorance, laziness, and all out arrogance of the left to still believe they have any power to define what is and isn't fake news when wars have been started over their reporting of fake news.

Mike Cernovich wrote about the interview on his website
Danger and Play

Scott Pelley kept trying to trap me. I reminded him of some huge stories the media refused to cover.

Scott Pelley:                         Question becomes, what, what’s your standard for objective truth? Maybe you’ve talked to an anesthesiologist who’s never met Hilary Clinton, who’s decided she has Parkinson’s Disease, which there’s no sign of, and then-

Mike Cernovich:                Are you a doctor?

Scott Pelley:                         I am not a doctor, but uh, the … Secretary Clinton does not seem to have Parkinson’s Disease. You seem to be the only person reporting that. It would be a pretty big story if it was true, and no one’s been able to verify it. So what’s your standard of proof? It doesn’t seem very high.

Mike Cernovich:                I remember when John Edwards had fathered a wo- a child out of wedlock with a woman he was cheating on while his wife had cancer, the media wouldn’t cover it.

Scott Pelley:                         The question’s not about John Edwards. The question’s not about John Edwards, it’s about you, what’s your standard of proof?

Mike Cernovich:                We’re having a philosophical conversation about the nature of truth, and the nature of truth is that John Edwards did not have a lovechild, that is fake news. Well actually it’s true, that happened. Right? So there are many stories that are under reported.

Scott Pelley:                         I’m talking about your website.

......

Scott Pelley didn't want to talk about the 'MSM' 's reporting of fake news. His goal was to define Cernovich as fake news.

I'm starting to believe these people really believe their own hype. They really do think they are better, smarter, and more qualified to report the news.

Well, as long as they are underestimating their enemy, they will continue to lose.

Which can only be good for truth.

The days of the main stream media being main stream are coming to an end.....faster please!

Mike's video covering himself watching himself on 60 Minutes was better than the actual 60 Minutes clip.

Well done Mike Cernovich!

interesting news day today....Did the Recent House Intelligence Wiretap Confirmation Prove Comey Lied Under Oath?
......

[…]  I briefed the president on the concerns that I had about incidental collection and how it relates to President-Elect Trump and his transition team; and the concerns that I have. As I said earlier, there will be more information hopefully by Friday.  The NSA is cooperating very very well; and lastly, I’ll say that the reports that I was able to see did not have anything to do with Russia or the Russian investigation or any tie to the Trump team.

Question: Why is it appropriate for you to brief President Trump?

“Because what I saw had nothing to do with Russia or the Russian investigation, it has everything to do with possible surveillance activities and the President needs to know these intelligence reports are out there and I have a duty to tell him that.”

Question:  Was it political surveillance?

“What I have read – bothers me – and I think it should bother the president himself and his team, – because some of it seems to be inappropriate.  but like I said until we get everything to the committee it’s hard to really say until we see everything in its totality.”

Question: Does this go beyond General Flynn type surveillance?

“Well, it definitely goes beyond what happened to General Flynn” … “I’ll tell you NSA has been cooperative, but so far the FBI has not told us if they will respond to the March 15th request.” … “What I’ve read, seems to me to be some level of surveillance activity, perhaps legal, but I don’t know that it’s right – and I don’t know that the American people would be comfortable with what I have read.”

Question: Was the President [Trump] correct with what he tweeted?

“It is possible.”

FOUR people are dead - including police officer and terrorist - and 20 more injured - after killer mowed down pedestrians on Westminster Bridge

It's the anniversary of the Brussels attack...and apparently the President of Turkey was not kidding when he said this yesterday ... Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned Wednesday that Europeans risk being unsafe on the world's streets

Three people and a terrorist are dead after an attacker brought carnage to central London today, mowing down pedestrians on Westminster Bridge and hacking at police with knives in the grounds of the Houses of Parliament.

At least 20 people were hit when a 4x4 drove along the pavement on the crowded bridge, knocking down and seriously injuring pedestrians before crashing into a fence below Big Ben.

An intruder, described by witnesses as 'middle-aged and Asian', then managed to break into the grounds of the Parliament where he fatally stabbed a police officer with two knives.

The policeman died at the scene. The attacker, who was shot by armed officers, died after he was taken to hospital.

It is currently believed one attacker was involved and he killed three people, including the policeman, and left at least 20 pedestrians and three other police officers seriously injured.

Where “Tennessee” is a blind 13-year-old shih tzu who had been frightened by a storm, panicked and ran the wrong way from home into the woods, became lost and eventually walked into a lake.

Early the next morning fishing guide Brian Carper spotted a shivering fur ball after Tennessee spent the night lost and alone.

It’s a great story.

NASHVILLE — Fishing guide Brian Carper didn’t have to use a pole to make a big catch the day after Christmas.

All he needed was a soft spot in his heart for a blind dog in trouble.

Beware the Ides of March How did the conspirators manage to get 60 people involved and keep it secret? What had Caesar done to alienate so many?

3/15/2017

A different kind of history can explain the crisis of the Roman state. Rapid imperial expansion enriched too few. Hugely extended frontiers demanded the creation of armies greater than ever before, legions of impoverished soldiers who hoped their generals would look after their interests when the fighting was done. A political culture based on competition overheated when so much wealth and so much violence were at hand. Global problems necessitated the empowerment of brilliant but self-serving generals like Pompey and Caesar who could not be contained in civil society. But none of this explains the psychology of a political elite turned into murderers. The Ides of March brought together members of every faction, and once Caesar was dead they immediately sprang apart and became enemies once again. What had Caesar done?

Strictly, of course, we can never know, any more than we can understand the mind of any dead assassin today. How feeble are our explanations of terrorist murders in Boston and London and Paris and Copenhagen. Social factors and political contexts explain a little but not what it was like to be among the killers. Mr. Strauss’s reconstructions are imaginative ones, solidly founded on the source material he knows so well, informed by the most recent scholarly discussions. For each of the key players he offers a sketch of their motivations: Brutus who mistook his self-interest for idealism; Cassius driven by a potent cocktail of ambition and principle; Decimus by hatred well concealed. Jealously and resentment at Caesar’s many alleged affairs—Brutus’ mother, possibly Cassius’ wife—simmered beneath the surface. But our most ancient sources cannot agree on whether Caesar went to the Senate House that morning arrogantly disregarding every warning or whether he fatalistically felt he had “lived long enough.” How can we do better at guessing his mental state? Or that of Cassius and Brutus, Decimus and Trebonius, Antony and Octavian? Perhaps some readers will still put “The Death of Caesar” down with a sigh for noble Brutus (although I won’t be one of them!).

The reason we have Daylight Saving Time (DST), of course, is because the politicians have mandated it.

3/12/2017

Via Ace of Spades

Can we please slow down and get something straight? There is simply no way to “save daylight.” People can spin the hands of their clocks like roulette wheels, but come Monday here in Washington, D.C., we’re still going to have sunshine for about 12 hours and 45 minutes. The sun can rise at a time of day we call dawn or Howdy Doody Time or whatever–but the stubborn facts of astronomy are at work here and they can’t be wished away.

The reason we have Daylight Saving Time (DST), of course, is because the politicians have mandated it. Washington is much better at wasting things than saving them, but federal lawmakers nevertheless spent much of the 20th century insisting, with typical modesty, that they could “save daylight.”

I recently wondered exactly why we observe Daylight Saving Time (DST). For some reason, I had harbored a vague notion that it had to do with farmers.

Well, it turns out that DST had nothing to do with farmers, who traditionally haven’t cared much for it. They care a lot less nowadays, but when the first DST law was making its way through Congress, farmers actually lobbied against it.

Dairy farmers were especially upset because their cows refused to accept humanity’s tinkering with the hands of time. The obstinate cud-chewers wanted to be milked every twelve hours, and had absolutely no interest in resetting their biological clocks–even if the local creameries suddenly wanted their milk an hour earlier.

As Michael Downing points out in his book, Spring Forward: The Annual Madness of Daylight Saving Time, urban businessmen were a major force behind the adoption of DST in the United States. They thought daylight would encourage workers to go shopping on their way home. They also tried to make a case for agriculture, though they didn’t bother to consult any actual farmers. One pamphlet argued that DST would benefit the men and women who worked the land because “most farm products are better when gathered with dew on. They are firmer, crisper, than if the sun has dried the dew off.” At least that was the claim of the Boston Chamber of Commerce, chaired by department-store magnate A. Lincoln Filene. This was utter nonsense. A lot of crops couldn’t be harvested until the morning dew had evaporated. What’s more, morning dew has no effect whatsoever on firmness or crispness.

Friday Afternoon News Dump: FBI's Geek Squad? Fake Twitter, Pedogate Diversions? Not So Fast & Furious, Utopian Terror?

3/10/2017

FBI Used Best Buy's Geek Squad To Increase Secret Public Surveillance "But evidence demonstrates company employees routinely snooped for the agency, contemplated "writing a software program" specifically to aid the FBI in rifling through its customers' computers without probable cause for any crime that had been committed, and were "under the direction and control of the FBI." BUT THE MOST INTERESTING PART OF THIS STORY TO ME IS THIS "experts for both the defense and the government testified that it's not only possible for files from the internet to land on a computer without the owner's knowledge, but that it also frequently happens."

As many as 48 million Twitter accounts aren't people, says study Fake News, Fake Fact Checkers, Fake Hate Crimes, Fake Protests, Fake Social Media.....is everything fake these days?
