MEMPHIS, TN -(WMC) - No apologies and no regrets are coming from Shelby County Commissioner Henri Brooks following her racial rant last week. Commissioner Chris Thomas is calling for an apology for that and other comments, but Brooks said she did nothing wrong. "You all are making it out to be more than it is," she said. Brooks says comments she made at a May 12 meeting were misconstrued.

Yeah ummmm Commissioner Thomas, I guess the white sheet remark could have been referring to you as Casper the Friendly Ghost? Yes, yes, now that I think of it, I feel stupid for not having realized Commissioner Brooks wasn't referring to the KKK. How silly of us all....
Also, her remarks about the African-American race having a much more oppressed experience than the Hispanic race was just an attempt at winning the "Whose Been More Oppressed Than Me" contest.....
