"You’re minding your own business, traversing a city sidewalk, when suddenly you see a physical altercation — and it involves a man and a woman.
Do you intervene?
Ah, but hang on a second. There’s a twist.
What if the woman is beating up the man?"
If everyone wants women and men to be treated equally, these double standards should end. People do tend to think of this kind of violence as funny, but is it? Doesn't the very fact that most people don't take this kind of violence seriously mean that domestic violence against men is probably under reported due to the fact that society laughs at the idea that women can be violent against men?
This video and the reaction of the public is not funny to me, in fact, it is very sad.
