Teacher Revulsed By The National Sexuality Education Standard Among Other Aspects of Common Core

Another suggestion is to not seek out whom you know to be convinced Common Core is the right curriculum for students. They do not want to know anything more for the moment. Pray for them. Some educators who happen to be Christian and who see nothing wrong with these standards actually may be too afraid of the powers that be. They may be turning their heads not wanting to deal with the fast approaching tsunami Common Core is causing, or they are just choose to be numb to it all. We have been hammered with, “Teach this. No, teach that!”, for years and years. It is as living around the time of the “Tower of Babel” in which nobody speaks the same educational language anymore. Teachers are a “tossed to and fro” group.Teachers hold the key, though!  Teachers are a huge group and there strength in numbers.  Also, educators need to quit running scared if they are.  We have to quit settling for the line of thought, “If I do this thing, then my job will be much easier” kind of attitude. If we do not try to get rid of socialist views, we should remember what Jesus warns us about hurting children.  Luke 17:2 It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.
