Friday on the House floor during a debate on a emergency bill to address the border crisis, Rep Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) said it was "martial law."Jackson Lee said "there's representation that there is an underlying bill to this martial law" continuing she said her concern was with "two points, protecting the children and providing the full resources for helping the children. That is not giving us the contents of the bill, it is the premise of the bill, for members to be able to intelligently come to the floor to assess the need to vote for the martial law."
