RYANs WAR ON POVERTY, via Bernie Becker:
House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) on Thursday unveiled a sweeping new package of proposals to battle poverty that he says will help low-income people currently bogged down by the federal bureaucracy.
The centerpiece in Ryans new plan is what he calls the Opportunity Grant a program that would consolidate as many as 11 separate federal initiatives into a single chunk of funding for states. (Grants??? Really??? More Grants??? Call them what they are....TAXPAYER FUNDS & REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH)
In a speech at the American Enterprise Institute on Thursday, Ryan said that the setup would aid state governments and local organizations that should be the front lines in the war on poverty, instead of the federal bureaucracy. (So, they would set this up as run through the state & local governments so they (the ruling class) could say this wouldn't be the federal bureaucracy (but where would the states get their grants?) The Federal Government? It's a shell game for the ruling class to play word games so come election time they can TALK about how they aided the poor not through the bloated federal bureaucracy but through the state and local governments. The grants would come from the Capitol District (see the Hunger Games for that reference) so what's the difference?)
Word to your mother...The gig is up...WE ARE ON TO ALL OF YOU...the status quo just will not do...
