As with everything, trust but verify...I recall a sensational story in Memphis last week about a carjacking and supposed kidnapping of a 6 year old boy that turned out to be bogus. If this story is true, there should be other witnesses who saw this..it was at a prominent location...stay tuned...

SHELBY COUNTY, TN - (WMC) - Police are looking for at least two men after a Mid-South nurse says she barely escaped being abducted outside the Barnes and Noble bookstore on North Germantown Parkway.

It was about 3 p.m. Tuesday when the victim says she was about to walk into the bookstore she frequents when two men tried to force her into a maroon van.

"It's sad, it's very sad," shopper Holly Carpenter said.
