Incidents like these illustrate why citizens need to be involved with their schools, government, and anything else publicly funded. If enough citizens were involved, you wouldn't need to hire outside groups to defend your right to free speech. Leslie Ballin, this separation of church and state that you speak of...is not in the constitution and I challenge you to show us that it is.
For those of you unaware, the only mention of "the separation of church and state" was mentioned in a personal letter written by Thomas Jefferson to a group of Baptists in Danbury, CT...12 years AFTER the constitution was written. So Leslie...what is this matter you speak of this "Wall of Separation between church and state"?
The 1st amendments states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances." What do you not understand about "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech"...such as bless you.
Good day Mr Ballin and God Bless You!
