MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com)--Kellogg employees will return to work next Tuesday.
Kellogg employees received letters on Saturday saying they would have training sessions next Monday and start work on August 12.
The lock out at the Memphis cereal plant came to an end after a federal judge ruled the company acted illegally when it padlocked the gates on the union workers back some nine months ago. (Ummm the workers chose to strike and NOT work so the company locked them out. Where's the problem?)
Union leaders filed complaints with the equal employment opportunity commission, saying the lock out was racially motivated. (Yeah, OK so it had nothing at all to do with the fact that the workers decided to strike and NOT work. Got it!)
More minorities work at the memphis plant then any other Kellogg facility. (And they included this little tidbit so you could infer that Kellogg is racist and locked the workers out because they are minorities, not because they chose to strike and NOT work. Don't you just love weak & pathetic journalism?)
