There are wild accusations coming from Judge Joe Brown regarding Shelby County District Attorney General Amy Weirich, his opponent in the Aug. 7 district attorney's race.
Someone from Judge Brown's campaign team posted a video on his campaign's social media sites of him speaking at an event where he calls into question DAG Weirich's sexual orientation and that her husband had left her and taken the couples' children.
In the 68 second clip Judge Brown references a report by FOX13 News anchor Greg Coy where we asked him about his campaign coffers and whether his pending divorce is tying his hands when it comes to self-financing his campaign.
"But they could ask her why her husband moved out and took the kids. Why a certain somebody moved in next door to her," Judge Brown said in the video clip. "I won't hold it against anybody that's their right but some in her community are on her about she needs to come out of the closet and instead of being so low down, she needs to stop being down low."
