Vanessa Coleman was convicted on charges of facilitating first-degree murder, second-degree murder, theft, rape, and kidnapping less than two years ago, and now she could be eligible for parole before the end of the year.Previous coverage: Christian-Newsom Murder Trials
Normally prisoners serve about 30 percent of their sentence before they are up for parole, but Chris Newsom's Parents, Mary and Hugh Newsom, say because of good behavior rules that time could be shortened for Coleman.
"'Let's talk about adventures. I've had one hell of an adventure,'" Hugh Newsom read.
Those are words written by Vanessa Coleman in a journal entry just days after the murders of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom.
They are words that Mary and Hugh Newsom say prove Coleman should never be allowed out of prison.

This story was not widely publicized but it should have been. You can read about the crime at the link below but I warn you, it's horrendous and anyone that participated in this crime in my view should have received the death penalty.
