MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com) - Not good enough. That is what many residents are saying about a statement released by Henri Brooks Tuesday regarding the controversy surrounding her.
The controversy being assault charge connected to an incident in the Methodist Hospital parking lot and an investigation by the county attorney into her residency.
The statement Brooks released was vague and did not really give an explain about what happened.
Local 24 went to Brooks’ home, her election headquarters, and county commission trying to find her.
She was nowhere to be found.
One thing is for sure, her statement did not say much about the allegations against her.
For a week Brooks has avoided answering questions about both incidents.
But those following the situation said the public deserves an explanation.
