MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com)--Trouble continues for Shelby County Commissioner Henri Brooks.
Last week brooks was arrested for assault for this caught on camera incident Tuesday.
According to a police report, brooks whipped into a parking spot while a woman was backing in.
The victim said Brooks became irate and yelled racial slurs at her, snatched a phone out of her hand, then dumped a bottle of water over her head.
Shelby County Commissioner Terry Roland says brooks needs to be held accountable for her bad behavior.
"I think this is on the democratic party and i this this is on the Democrats on the Shelby County Commissioner. Ya know this is one of there own and if they don't say nothing than they condone this."
While Roland says he will the leave the censure issue up to the democrats on the commission, he may ask for brooks to immediately step down over a different issue.
Her residency.
There are questions whether or not brooks lives in the district she represents.
According to her campaign paperwork, brooks lists an address on Crump as her home.
People who live there, however, say she is never there and they've never seen here.
Instead, people say brooks lives in Cordova.
We tried to ask Brooks Friday where she lives, but she did not respond.
