“We are working closely with the Montgomery County Health Department, State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the CDC to manage this case and to ensure we continue to be prepared to care for patients with Ebola symptoms.”
Given the potential risk to those who come in contact with Ebola victims, and the fact that the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says that, based on one case alone, as many as 100 people may have been exposed to the virus, some are suggesting that air travel between the U.S. and certain parts of Africa be banned.
