State documents show, in many cases, Ford sent letters to the lieutenant governor to say she missed votes because of her health.

While we all can sympathize with anyone who has to miss work because they are sick, perhaps if you are elected to office so you can represent your constituents on crucial votes that effect their lives, you might consider resigning and letting someone fill in that can actually fulfill the duties of office and give THE PEOPLE proper representation.
"When WMC Action News 5's Kontji Anthony called Sen. Ford to ask about the absences, she replied that she did not know what Kontji was talking about and said that she did attend most of her meetings. Then she hung up the phone."
Must have been an attack of a very mysterious case of some physical ailment that prevented Senator Ford from answering questions from News Channel 5's Konji Anthony ....mysterious indeed.
