Notice to construction contractors, labor unions, and private individuals.
Shelby Farms Park Conservancy intends to solicit assistance from the Department of Defense’s Innovative Readiness Training Program. The assistance will include parking and boat ramp renovations, invasive species removal and trail work to support park visitor access to Shelby Farms Park, the Wolf River and our trail system. The proposed assistance will take place at Shelby Farms Park in fiscal year 2017. Funding is not available to undertake this project without military assistance. Construction contractors, labor unions, or private individuals who have questions or who wish to voice opposition to military assistance for this project may contact Betsy Peterson at 901-222-7285 or bpeterson@shelbyfarmspark.org no later than 30 days after publication of this notice. Persons not filing comments within the time frame noted will be considered to have waived their objections to military assistance for this project.
