Ann Coulter is urging tea party challenger Chris McDaniel to concede in the Mississippi Senate Republican primary.
In an op-ed in the Jackson Clarion-Ledger, the conservative commentator said McDaniel supporters who are fighting to contest the June 24 runoff election results against Sen. Thad Cochran are hurting the GOP — and McDaniel’s own political future.
“Some McDaniel supporters can’t think about anything but winning this one primary,” Coulter wrote on Thursday night. “They don’t care that they’re gambling with a Republican majority in the Senate — or destroying McDaniel’s future prospects.” Really Ann??? a Republican majority in the Senate??? Most of us so over the Republican Party that it really doesn't effect us the way it use too. Let's see...if we can't get a Republican Senate majority what could possibly happen??? Complete takeover of 1/5 of the economy through Obamacare? The Dream Act??? Runaway government that rewards Big Banks, Big Insurance Companies, Big Auto Companies, and any other BIG corporation that is "too big to fail"??? Dodd-Frank bill that guarantees more bailouts when needed(THANKS TO OUR VERY OWN REPUBLICAN BOB CORKER FOR REVIVING THAT WHEN IT WAS DEAD)(HE WENT ON TO VOTE AGAINST IT THOUGH YOU KNOW CUZ HE'S A REPUBLICAN)??? IRS persecution for beliefs not acceptable to our overlords??? NSA persecution for beliefs not acceptable to our overlords??? EPA persecution for beliefs not acceptable to our overlords??? Higher Gas Prices??? Inflation that is stealing the wealth of the middle class???
We are over it Ann, this political game the elites like to play is killing us. The whole left right paradigm is shifting before our eyes and most of those inside the game don't see it. But that's OK, we the people, we got this. It's not about Republican or Democrat. Our founding fathers did not fight for the 2 party system, they fought for the principles of self governance. We are not buying the whole "oh no if we don't vote for Thad Cochran the sky is going to fall"... in case you hadn't noticed, the sky IS falling and the status quo just will not do.
Spare me your sanctimonius advice to those of us who are willing to stand up for what we believe in. It's a new day and the times they are a changin...
P.S As a sidenote, in the past, I loved watching you debate the left. You can definitely hold your own but then I began to realize your abrasive ways weren't changing hearts and minds, as a matter of fact, they were hardening them. Ronald Reagan had a knack for winning the hearts and minds of all different kinds of people. He educated people everytime he spoke about the principles of self governance without coming across as abrasive. Your winning debate style is great for selling books, but not for changing the hearts and minds who have for so long been a part of the elites "divide and conquer" technique that they are shut down to anything but conventional thinking. I'm not talking about watering down your principles, I am talking about catching more flies with honey. You should try it sometime...when you aren't trying to sell a book.
