The only way to fight corruption is to confront it...just sayin...

Chris McDaniel posted this on his facebook a little while ago...
I am very disappointed to hear Judge McGehee granted Senator Cochran's Motion to Dismiss on a technical filing issue, instead of hearing the case on its merits.
Nevertheless, I trust that God has a plan. We may not always understand His eventual plans, but all will be revealed in time. Although we do not yet have our justice, my prayer is that God's will be done. I likewise pray for all involved (including those who wronged us).
In the coming days, I will keep you informed on our options.
Standing and fighting for you and our principles has been the honor of my life. I am grateful for your support and proud to call you my friends.
I am re-posting the letter I wrote to the citizens of Tn after Lamar Alexander won the primary and think it's just as appropriate for the citizens of Mississippi in the aftermath of the Thad Cochran debacle...just exchange Lamar Alexander for Thad Cochran...pretty easily done, they are the dinosaurs of the Republican Party and Joe Carr for Chris McDaniel...the future of the Republican Party...
The primaries came and went and the establishment won most of the races although on a more local level, there are several new and really good faces that will be helping to steer the party in the right direction. (Congratulations Kathy Bryson State Exec Committeewoman District 6 and Karen Bracken Polk County Commissioner District 2)
Lamar Alexander won, probably the biggest disappointment of all, and the Republican Party's march to crush the tea party is in full swing. I am not as disappointed as most because I know that elections don't change things, people do.
The problem we have in America is with the people. Lack of education about what their leaders are really doing (see Lamars dishonest commercials about how hard he fought against Obamacare even though he voted to fund it, his dishonest commercials about amnesty saying he voted against it) which is why Lamar had to lie to get re-elected. (Thad Cochran spent 11 million dollars on character assassination of Chris McDaniel...think the Republican Party isn't taking him seriously? I have 11 million reasons to believe they are...)
But what did he really win? His party's continued march toward Whigdom? Do you think the Whigs saw the demise of their party coming while it was going on? They didn't and the Republicans don't either.
Let me add this...Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
This election is what it is, just another election. The sun will still rise in the east and set in the west and the citizens that love this country, tea party or not, will continue to get engaged and fight to reclaim the power that is supposed to reside in the people. The outcome of elections shouldn't deter anyone from their civic duties which go way beyond voting.
The old and washed up figureheads of the Republican Party are not the future of what will turn this country around. YOU ARE the future so fret not, all is not lost and before you return the federal level of politics to any sense of sanity, you are going to have to save your local & state communities first. If you are feeling discouraged today about not being able to vote out even the most liberal of Republicans, turn that discouragement into action. Go to your local meetings, go to your state meetings if you don't live nearby, make an effort to make the trip there once in awhile. All politics is local and you do have power at the local level, if you don't believe that, drop me an email at (midsouthsentinel@gmail.com) I can tell you all about it.
Elections won't fix things, YOU will. After the people are engaging in the governing process that they should have been all along, THEN and only then will elections reflect the righteous actions of it's citizens. It's all out of order right now but the journey of thousand miles begins with one step and in the infamous words of John Paul Jones....I have not yet begun to fight!
So join me, join your fellow citizens activists who are already engaged in the fight and find out what you can do to change things. As I have said before here, Obama was right about one thing...."We are the ones we have been waiting for"...so what are you waiting for? Elections? You can change things without waiting for elections...will you answer the call?
I don't think Chris McDaniel is giving up and neither should you...
