Phil Bredesen is running as a moderate. He says he isn't running against Trump. See this totally unbiased fluff piece in Vanity Fair....
Anyways, he's not running against POTUS right? I mean if he's running as a moderate then those he is allying himself with and those supporting him will show Tn he will not be Schumer's puppet right?
Adding to Phil Bredesen's "moderate" credentials is Heather Podesta. Yes....that Podesta.
Steve Gill political editor of the Tennessee Star said "“Ultimately Tennessee voters will discover that ideologically he is Hillary Clinton without the pantsuits,” .....OUCH! Oh come on the next fundraiser will surely expose some moderate leanings ....Joe Biden???
Cohen sounds just like those who are radicalizing democrats to gun down Republicans while playing baseball like his brethren at the SPLC. Surely Phil the moderate Bredesen would disavow such dangerous rhetoric? No? Cohen has since apologized saying “It was obviously humor,” he said, adding: “I wish her no harm."
Unfortunately for Cohen and the Democrats the MAGA movement is making them live under the same rules they have created for us. If Bredesen wants people to believe he is a moderate then he's going to have to disavow this kind of dangerous rhetoric coming from the far left. Bredesen also needs to be asked if he agrees with the disgusting comments Cohen made while FBI agent Peter Strzok was testifying over his texts with his paramour Lisa Page regarding their "Insurancy Policy" to stop President Trump. Cohen said this "Mr. Strzok, if I could give you a Purple Heart, I would."
Needless to say that didn't go over well with veterans and others who support veterans. Cohen has since tried to walk those comments back too which is probably too little too late...but Bredesen needs to clarify whether or not he stands with his far left buddy or whether he's actually going to walk a moderate line and not just talk a moderate line.
How about some "moderate" connections in the celebrity world? How about Singer-songwriter Ben Folds, who supported Sen. Bernie Sanders for president in 2016, is headlining a fundraiser later this month for Democratic Senate hopeful Phil Bredesen. He can't be all that bad ....can he?
Bredesen stated this back in April "The former governor says he would reject any help from former presidential nominee Hillary Clinton -- "I don't need that," he says bluntly -- and lamented the fact that she called Trump supporters "deplorables". Jason Isbell's comments sound an awful lot like Hillary's no? Does Phil agree? Maybe like Hillary he also thinks some of these deplorables are not redeemable? It seems worth noting all his far left connections.
Actions speak louder than words. Bredesen and his wife were staunch supporters of Hillary Clinton...."Bredesen’s contributions to Hillary Clinton and her various entities in 2016–$46,100– all but amounted to the median household income for Tennessee that year, $48,547, according to Google."
OK so far I have presented ZERO evidence that would hint towards Bredesen's potential to not vote lock, stock, and barrel with his Democrat party but check this out...surely this will sway some Republicans to vote for the moderate?
Who wants to tell him? Or better yet....let this be your secret and mine....Phil should totally spout this off at every campaign stop along the way. Someone might inform him though this could be considered an in-kind donation to the Republican Party, so file your FEC records accordingly.
Well, I could go on but I've got better things to do than look for unicorns. Phil Bredesen the moderate? More like Phony Phil Bredesen. While I can't find evidence for something that doesn't exist you should totally find you someone who looks at you the way Bredesen looks at John McCain....or even Obama.
