“We have no intelligence indicating that there is a specific threat to Boston or the Fourth of July celebration that we have here but, of course, we are in constant contact with the Boston Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police, the MBTA police and the Cambridge police,” said Kieran L. Ramsey, assistant Special Agent in Charge at the FBI’s Boston office. “We want to make sure the public understands that this ‘If You See Something, Say Something’ campaign is not just a phrase — it’s really meant to ensure that the public is as vigilant as ever and asking them to contact law enforcement immediately should they see something.”
The joint-intelligence bulletin issued yesterday by the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and the National Counterterrorism Center warns of the potential for ISIS-inspired attacks targeting cops and the military, an official told the Herald.
